The cottage was perfect for our 1 year anniversary. We loved our stay, Glyn & Heather were great hosts & really thought about everything to make our stay amazing!

Everything about this cottage is delightful. Fittings and furnishings are of a high spec throughout and the hot tub is such a bonus. I was incredibly happy and comfortable there and would definitely book again. There are so many things to do locally and a bit further afield (I recommend Wild Wookey although it’s not for the faint-hearted). I got very lucky with the weather too and loved having breakfast in the back garden and my evening g&t at the front. Felt more like Provence than Wiltshire!

The cottage itself is absolutely exquisite and demonstrates a fantastic attention to detail throughout. The local area is stunning and one of the most relaxing places that we have been. Heather and Glyn were the most welcoming hosts and had great recommendations for dining out and things to do. We have had the best time x

We have been coming to the UK frequently over the years and have stayed at many high end cottages, mostly in the Cotswolds. This was our first visit to the Bath area, and our first stay at Burghope Cottage… Which FAR exceeded our expectations. Burghope Cottage is the gold standard for what a holiday cottage should be. It has been lovingly restored to reflect its original “bones”, yet with a stunning mix of old and new in its interior design. Heather and Glyn have thought of every possible convenience for those who stay here. We could go on and on… but suffice it to say Burghope Cottage is PERFECT!

Simply perfect and we will passionately recommend the cottage to friends and family. Suited us well for a week’s house hunting extending as far south east as Salisbury and as far west as Monmouthshire. What a great renovation, luxury accommodation from a traditional village cottage – Didn’t brave the hot tub in the heavy frost but wood burner very very useful, especially bedroom as well. Recommendations: Circus restaurant in Bath and Scallop Shell – the best fish and chips. Great place to celebrate Andrea’s birthday!

We could not have asked for a more perfect stay at Burghope Cottage. We were instantly blown away with the elegance of the cottage and the clear attention to detail. It is honestly perfect and we have enjoyed our stay very much. The village location is absolutely stunning as well. We felt like we were locals on our first night at the Seven Stars, joining in on the curry and quiz night. If we could live at Burghope permanently, we would, absolutely gorgeous cottage & great jacuzzi too! 10 out of 10 would recommend! We will be back 🙂 Thank you Heather & Glyn!! Xxx

Having read the reviews + seen the photos, our expectations were high. We were not disappointed. A wonderful cottage with everything we could possibly want/need, and located in an excellent spot. We will definitely be recommending Burghope Cottage to our friends.
