Burghope Cottage may be unsuitable for guests with significant mobility impairments who cannot independently negotiate stairs or use the designated fire escape routes.

The ground floor is open plan; there is no wheelchair access due to outside steps and there are twelve steps up the curved stairs.
The only toilet, bathroom and bedroom are situated on the first floor.

In event of a fire, the Primary fire exit is through the front door, and the Secondary fire escape is via the first floor bedroom window.

Please contact us if you have a major hearing impairment that would prevent you from hearing the fire alarms in event of a fire.
